Not what I was looking for

I realise now art books are not for me. I was hoping it would be full of psychedelic hippie orientated poster art from the late sixties. The type which advertised concerts and festivals in the states. There is a bit of that but not much. Photos of art on the sides of buildings, art work on cars and a fancy painted piano are not interesting for long and I found the bio's on the artists boring. There is more to the book than this though, examples of the development drawings for Yellow Submarine, the cover of Santana's Abbraxas Album and lots of paintings, illustrations and silk screens. But much of it I would call pop art in the style of Andy Warhol. Best left to art students.

This was a Christmas present for my daughter.She was thrilled with it. It arrived shortly after ordering and was left in the shed as requested.
